The hotels we have chosen are all family run hotels. They all have individual character, and most are in the centre of the villages they are located in. All rooms have their own bath or shower and English is spoken but often limited.
We have personally stayed in or visited all of our accommodations. They have all been selected for their great locations, friendly atmosphere and traditional hospitality, as well as the warm welcome they offer to walkers. Below is a summary of our usual accommodations*.
On this trek, the accommodations are mostly small and family-run, all rooms have a private bathroom.
Night 1: Camprodon
This neoclassical family run hotel has recently been renovated yet retains its historical charm. Located in the heart of the village with beautiful views over the River Ter, you can enjoy the terrace, gardens and swimming pool. You take your meals in the popular restaurant which forms part of the hotel.
All rooms feature free Wi-Fi, television, telephone, safe and private bathroom with WC, shower and hairdryer.
Night 2: Beget
This family run hotel is a converted house in the village and is beautifully peaceful in the evenings. Rooms are spacious and modern but in keeping with the old building. Their rustic style restaurant serves traditional Catalan food and offers lovely views of the River Trull.

Night 3: Prats de Mollo
Tonight you will stay in this medieval city in France in a typically Catalan building. The rooms are beautifully appointed with whatever you may need. Dinner of course is in the French style and a lovely contrast for the week.

Night 4: Mollo
This is a rural hotel in the mountains just a few miles from the French border. There is a terrace for drinks and a swimming pool which are open in the summertime.

Night 5: Setcases
This restaurant has beautiful views overlooking the natural environment of Setcases. The restaurant serves typical traditional high mountain Catalan cuisine and attracts people from far afield to this gourmet noted village.

Nights 6 & 7: Ribes de Freser
A Jacuzzi on the terrace with stunning views is just one thing that this hotel at the foot of the Pyrenees has to offer. Their traditional Catalan restaurant uses only local sourced ingredients for their delicious creations. Free Wi-Fi is available in public areas.

We will always endeavour to use the accommodations detailed above. Occasionally, due to limited availability or refurbishments, we may have to accommodate you into alternative accommodations which are not listed in the above description. If those listed are unavailable, the alternative accommodation will be of the same or better standard than those described.
