Alsace Winelands

On this trek, the accommodations are mostly small and family-run, all rooms have a private bathroom.

We have personally stayed in or visited all of our accommodations. They have all been selected for their great locations, friendly atmosphere and traditional hospitality, as well as the warm welcome they offer to walkers. Below is a summary of our usual accommodations*.

Nights 1 & 7: Turckheim

Located just a short walk from the train station, this family run small 3* hotel has spacious, modern rooms and excellent service. Their restaurant offers delicious typical cuisine within a welcoming atmosphere. Guests can take advantage of the heated outdoor swimming pool, sauna and garden terrace to relax after a days’ walking. 

All rooms feature free Wi-Fi, television, air conditioning and private bathroom with WC, shower and hairdryer.

Night 2: Kaysersberg

Located very close to the village viewpoint tower, this welcoming 3* hotel overlooks the beautiful Alsatian landscapes. Dinner is not included tonight as there is such a great variety of choice within the village centre, only a short walk from your accommodation. 

All rooms feature free Wi-Fi, television, air conditioning and private bathroom with WC, shower and hairdryer.

Night 3: Munster

Surrounded by lush greenery, this family run 3* spa hotel offers a great place for walkers to relax. You will be served a refined evening meal which utilises the delicious regional produce. Guests can also enjoy the two swimming pools, spa facilities and pleasant garden terrace. 

All rooms feature free Wi-Fi, television, air conditioning and private bathroom with WC, shower and hairdryer.

Night 4: Wintzfelden

This charming 3* hotel features a beautiful wooden terrace overlooking the rolling views where you can enjoy a delightful breakfast and dinner. An indoor swimming pool and sauna are also available for guests to relax. 

All rooms feature free Wi-Fi, television, air conditioning and private bathroom with WC, shower and hairdryer.

Nights 5 & 6: Eguisheim

Situated on the Grand Rue, very close to the village centre, the traditional antique exterior of this accommodation is quite charming. Enjoy the peaceful atmosphere created by the family team which run this small 3* hotel, known in the village as having one of the best restaurants in the area (which we can certainly vouch for!).

We will always endeavour to use the accommodations detailed above. Occasionally, due to limited availability or refurbishments, we may have to accommodate you into alternative accommodations which are not listed in the above description. If those listed are unavailable, the alternative accommodation will be of the same or better standard than those described.
