The hotels are mostly small family run hotels. All rooms have a private bathroom, mostly with showers. You will be assured of dinner with local specialities.
We have personally stayed in or visited all of our accommodations. They have all been selected for their great locations, friendly atmosphere and traditional hospitality, as well as the warm welcome they offer to walkers. Below is a summary of our usual accommodations*.
On this trek, the accommodations are mostly small and family-run, all rooms have a private bathroom.
Nights 1 & 2: Kakopetria
Situated in Old Kakopetria Village, this accommodation is a complex of old houses that have been lovingly restored and transformed under the regulations of the Cyprus Tourism Organisation within the framework of Agrotourism, so as to establish a superb homely environment offering a traditional experience that can be truly enjoyed. Free Wi-Fi is available in public areas and some of the rooms. There is also a sauna and a bar, a small garden and two verandas for guests to enjoy.
All rooms feature television, telephone, air conditioning and private bathroom with WC and shower/bath.
Night 3: Trachypedoula
This building was originally built in 1840 and has now been converted into three studios with one common sitting-room. It is a traditional stone-building with two yards. All of the studios are traditionally decorated and well furnished.
All rooms feature free Wi-Fi, television, telephone, air conditioning and private bathroom with WC and shower/bath.
Night 4: Pano Panagia
Here you will be staying in one of four apartments which have been converted from a 200 year old mansion owned by a local family. All of the apartments have air conditioning, TV and a small kitchen area with appliances. Dinner and breakfast are taken in a nearby restaurant a few minutes’ walk away.
All rooms feature free Wi-Fi, television, telephone, air conditioning and private bathroom with WC and shower/bath.
Night 5: Lasa
This family run hotel has just 9 rooms. Part of the hotel was built in the 19th century and used to be a coffee shop and a natural meeting point for the village. This has now been added to with a new wing. Breakfast is taken at the hotel. Dinner is taken at a taverna in Fyti.
All rooms feature free Wi-Fi, television, telephone and private bathroom with WC, bath/shower and hairdryer.
Night 6: Droushia
Boasting a beautiful position overlooking Chrysochou Bay, this lovely hotel was renovated in 2013 and now has 58 rooms. Breakfast is taken at the hotel. You take dinner at a taverna in the village a few minutes’ walk from the hotel. The hotel also has a swimming pool.
All rooms feature free Wi-Fi, television, telephone, safe, tea/coffee making facilities and private bathroom with WC, bath/shower and hairdryer.
Night 7: Lakhi
This small family run hotel is located on the seafront, each room has a balcony with either a sea or mountain view. Dinner and breakfast are taken in the seafront restaurant with spectacular views.
All rooms feature free Wi-Fi, television, telephone, safe, tea/coffee making facilities and private bathroom with WC, bath/shower and hairdryer.

We will always endeavour to use the accommodations detailed above. Occasionally, due to limited availability or refurbishments, we may have to accommodate you into alternative accommodations which are not listed in the above description. If those listed are unavailable, the alternative accommodation will be of the same or better standard than those described.
