Ireland - More Information

Ireland is the United Kingdom’s neighbour and both share a lot in common, culturally and economically. The Republic cover about five-sixths of the island with Dublin on the east coast as it’s capital.

There are various landscapes which can be enjoyed across the country. The west is rugged with hills, cliffs, peninsulas and bays. More centrally there are lowlands with bogland and lakes while the east coast is less rugged as it does not have to endure the abuse from the Atlantic.

The famous Irish “Craic” can be enjoyed in any of Ireland’s pubs which are often alive the sounds of conversation and banter and maybe local music if you are lucky.
